No. 1
Use this size (No. 1) for a 3 inch border, either straight or meandering, for a feather wreath for small blocks, or for feather motifs on quilted clothing.
No. 2
Use this size (No. 2) for a 4 inch border, for wreaths for 12 inch blocks.
No. 3
This is the best size (No. 3) to use for all-quilted counterpanes, where the feather quilting provides the focus of the design. It produces 7 inch - 8 inch borders, large feather wreaths and ovals.
