There are various privacy services and products available. We cannot maintain a current list, so you might want to check some of the many firewall, cookie and banner ad remover programs.

We also recommend occasionally deleting all cookie files. Utility programs are available to do these functions, and similar features are being added to the newer browsers.

PGP encrypted email is also an alternative, but your associates must also use it.

There are a large number of free proxy services for browsing, but "buyer beware."

Spam Reporting:

We recommend Spamcop for reporting Spam. We use the free web-based service ourselves, and are considering the subscription service.
